Legendary country superstar Dolly Parton will co-host Miley Cyrus’ live New Year’s Eve special on Dec. 31 in Miami, Fla.

“‘Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party’ is about getting glamorous and dressing your best,” Cyrus said Tuesday in a promotional video posted to Instagram.

“Well, we do that every day. Don’t we, Miley?” Parton chimed in.

“You taught me well,” the “Wrecking Ball” songstress acknowledged.

The “9 to 5” singer further promised that the special would be “legendary” to which Cyrus vouched, “She would know!”

Parton and Cyrus have a long history as the “Rockin’ Years” singer is a close friend of Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus. The blond duo has collaborated in the past on live renditions of Parton’s “Jolene” as well as “Rainbowland” in 2017, which is on Cyrus’ “Younger Now” album.

Cyrus also appeared on Parton’s 2020 album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas” for a duet, titled “Christmas Is.”

This will be Cyrus’ second consecutive Lorne Michaels-produced New Year’s Eve spectacular. Last year’s show recruited “Saturday Night Live” alum Pete Davidson as Cyrus’ co-host and saw performances by Jack Harlow, Brandi Carlile, Saweetie, Noah Cyrus, Anitta, 24kGoldn, Kitty Ca$h and others.

“Lorne Michaels is literally a master at improvising and putting together a show of this scale. He does it every week in five days,” Cyrus told Variety earlier this year. “I think everyone wants to watch something that is real and honest and genuine and authentic —which is relatable to the way that everyone celebrates at home.”

Last year’s event was the second most-watched NYE special on TV, per Variety, trailing behind “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” with 6.3 million viewers from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., compared to Seacrest’s 19.6 million total viewers.

But it also caused a stir as Cyrus’ broadcast trended the most among NYE specials on Twitter.

Cyrus rang in 2021 with a flash when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a performance of “Party in the USA.”

“Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” airs live on NBC and Peacock at 10:30 p.m. EST on Dec. 31.
